Edge routers for clean, flush edge trimming

An edge router trims edges and corners cleanly and evenly, so overhanging material and rough transitions disappear. The tool is ideal for trimming overhanging laminate or veneer, rounding off sharp corners and neatly finishing sheet material. Thanks to the compact build and the tilting cutter section, you guide the router precisely along the workpiece edge, even at an angle.

When choosing, look at the motor power and the shank size of the cutters: lighter models around 720 W are handy for mobile finishing work, while more powerful versions up to 1700 W handle heavier routing and harder materials. Cutters with a 6 mm or 8 mm shank are the most common. A stepless speed control and good dust extraction keep the cut clean and your workspace tidy.
